Alternative Parts will introduce at FABTECH 2023 technology to ensure profitability and efficiency in metalworking processes.

The commitment to technology as an instrument for the growth and development of manufacturing companies will be essential in the coming years, considering the high demands on efficiency and profitability.

For Jasiel Hernandez, CEO of Alternative Parts in Mexico, the realization of events such as FABTECH allow industry entrepreneurs to achieve this approach with the new technological tools available to meet the objectives of their projects in production.

Alternative Parts provides spare parts and parts for many brands of machinery for the metalworking industry of steel sheet transformation, from cutting machines, bending machines, punching machines, and all kinds of tools for this branch of manufacturing; a portfolio that will be presented at Fabtech Mexico 2023 under a new exhibition format.

Hernández explained that, although we live in a more digitized world, with more content and tools (such as videos or podcasts) that facilitate access to technical information, the possibility of seeing machines, tools, or parts physically, all concentrated in an enclosure with the right conditions gives the user a different and much more complete experience.

He added that having exhibitions such as FABTECH Mexico allows users to make decisions with more and better information, in addition to making it possible to approach distributors to talk about possible solutions to develop and, based on such data, make the best purchasing decisions. The exhibition is vital for the Mexican market, as it allows companies to build and grow relied on new technologies.

With more than 25 years in the US market, Alternative Parts was established in Mexico in 2018 to offer manufacturers a greater variety of parts to keep their machinery operating as efficiently as possible.

Hernández highlighted the value technology adds to companies and assured that those firms that invested in technology before the pandemic had incredible growth during and post-pandemic.  We know that “there was a concern, uncertainty, and skepticism, but we understood that these companies in the market held up much better than those that did not make investments in technology.”

Hernandez is optimistic and considers the outlook in Mexico to be good. “As users, sometimes we do not realize the impact of this industry since the type of products exhibited are everywhere, metal components, electronics, appliances, machinery, etc.; industries that have allowed Mexico to achieve accelerated growth in recent years. I am happy to understand how we can continue working and developing the industry in Mexico.”
