Statement on FABTECH Mexico

March 17, 2020 As it continues to spread throughout the world, FABTECH has been closely monitoring the rapidly increasing health and safety concerns related to the Coronavirus, COVID-19. After careful evaluation of currently available information, including the classification as a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO), and the recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the FABTECH Event Partners have decided to postpone this year’s FABTECH Mexico scheduled for May 12-14 in Mexico City to May 4-6, 2021 in Monterrey. Our collective priority as always is for the health and safety of our exhibitors, attendees and support teams. In communication with our exhibit hall partner and customers, it has been shared that Mexico City is broaching a stage 1 response to the Coronavirus including postponement of events of more than 1,000 people for the next several weeks. While it is disappointing to delay what promised to be an exceptional event, we have thoughtfully considered all factors essential to conducting a safe and successful show. We will continue to assess the COVID-19 situation as it develops in regard to all FABTECH events. We remain committed to act in the best interest of the FABTECH community and will keep you informed. Please contact FABTECH Show Management with any questions.
